I've just had a good price quoted this morning by Lockton's (Via Supercarhub).
I've a couple of other providers to get quotes from, but pleased with Lockton's figure.

Hey - that's good news David, happy to help, as the thread said, the more traffic we can bring them contained from one introducer, the more they can work with us....understand the needs etc... they were great for both Julian and i when our cars came up, couldn't get near on price or cover (even i compare with confused.com!!)

Quick update to say i have taken out insurance with Locktons. So far very pleased with the service (one slight query oin the cover was clarified and amended straightaway). Good price, too.
Last year I was with Admiral, the renewal notice showed a large price hike (in line with the market, generally). On 'Go Compare' etc they (Adm.) came in about £200 below their renewal offer (rather annoying that, but not unexpected).

I'd recommend giving Locktons a go.

Absolutely Frank and as it is our inititive, we need to make sure that the quotes are requested through Supercarhub as the preferential rates have been applied to our source and i can thus monitor with your kind feedback guys.

With a proposed 10000 mile maximum Loxtons could nor offer a competitive quote. Following receipt of my renewal I have now moved away from the high net worth policy with Royal Sun Alliance arranged through A Plan in favour of Admiral. Given a general rise in insurance premiums I am glad to have achieved a figure close to year.

Andrea, Perhaps you can tackle the 10K annual miliage with them as this may have been the sticking point on my quote... I've also discovered my postcode is actually on a blacklist! Not specifically my street but the RM1 part apparently?

Maybe I should register my motors at my parents instead...
