In July of 2011, Maserati announced we would be receiving the hotted-up GranTurismo Convertible Sport here in the States. Known as the GranCabrio Sport elsewhere around the world, this beautiful droptop is packed with a more powerful version of the mill found in the GranTurismo S.

Between the svelte fenders sits a 4.7-liter V8 engine that produces 444 horsepower, 380 pound-feet of torque and noises that invoke autonomic physiological responses directly stoking our limbic system. Want to stoke your own limbic system? Click past the jump... first, just make sure your boss isn't watching.

Not sure if this will be a big seller, the Grancabrio does not look to be selling greatly but with the current econimic situation, i dont expect these cars to be flying out of the showrooms.

Just fantastic. Even a DBS that is a few years old can't be bought for that money so it'd be that or a 2010 DB9... I would possibly have the Maser, it's just stunning :)

Agree totally Lewis , and the good news is , if you sold your entire fleet you could buy a brand spankers one and still have change to run it

Unfotunately im a good few litres behind you so i'll have to wait another few years

Fully expect to see one in Portishead in the near future. This place seems to have a disproportionate amount of exotica currently and is doing a half-decent impression of Monaco (well, provided you turn a blind eye to the brown water, TK-Max, and Eddy Large).
