Not sure I would have another 3200 unless AC......I prefer the style over he 4200 but I've had one and they are a bit more fragile over a 4200 and as I use the car daily the 4200 I think would suit....Or QP.....or GS.....or GTS.....

Personally I would take the spyder and then the QP. I've got nothing against the other two but the coupes don't really flick my switch.

I just don't fancy a 4200 - no offence to those who have them. I had an amazing 3200 and was going to change to a GS, but couldn't find what I was looking for. Since that time I have gone off the idea somewhat - the GS would have been my daily and in the interim I swapped MPH for MPG and bought a diesel Alfa GT. I now can't see myself changing this for a while as I really like it's combination of a decent turn of speed combined with the thirst of a sparrow all wrapped up in a pretty package which is very comfortable to drive. My daily driver from now on will be this sort of car - I never thought I would say that. So, what I now want is another toy to go with the E30. GS prices are still dropping and will continue to do so; I'm not daft enough to have a depreciating toy sitting on the driveway being used for special occasions, especially with those running costs. I loved my 3200 and almost instantly regretted selling her, so the obvious choice for me is another 3200, but this time something more special in the shape of an Assetto Corsa. I believe these will be the most collectable of this body style in years to come (possibly followed by the GS, but there are far more of them), so potentially a wise investment if kept in excellent condition and maintained properly. It has all the looks and go that I need and I am now not scared of fixing some of the things myself that would have previously cost me a fortune to have done by somebody else. I have some building work to do at my house and then I shall start looking once this is completed.

3200 AC is a wise buy now Maf, Cortese's is a nice one apart from the scuffed side bolster, like you say, they will be very sought after along with the GS MC Victory. One car know one talks about on here is the 90th Anniversary Spyder.

Probably Loz. However, driving hard across the Alps, coupe or spyder? No contest. Getting the full effect of straight through pipes in a spyder is spine tingling. I rest my case.
