I bought one and put it in my Gransport.
I much prefer a less fat, fully round steering wheel without flat bit and excessive cutouts for the the thumb.
This wheel still benefits from the carbon fibre sections.

I've got one in my 4200 as well. Lovely thing to hold in your hands and much better than the stock item IMHO.
Not that I get to hold it much in my hands much these days

The seller also has CF door inserts for sale. It looks like an extremely well specced 4200 is being broken

I really want to get those but the seller didn't indicate he sends to Belgium (I messaged him about that), would anyone be willing to receive and forward to me please ?

Thanks a lot - appreciate this a lot!
Won't be needed in the end, the seller will ship directly.

Just noticed this has both the trims forythe doors and for the bit behind the doors - which only exists on Coupe cars (and not on Spyders such as mine).
If anyone would be interested, would be very willing to let those go for a gentle price.

The funny thing about the carbon trims is that they’re the aluminium trims wrapped with a thin sheet of cf, making them heavier. Same for the GranSport rear spoiler - thin cf sheet over the standard ABS spoiler. Definitely a case of more show than go, but I still like the look - I changed the trims in my GS to cf.

Hydro dipping is a superb option for carbon look. If done right it’s identical to the real stuff. Had it in my 916 spider and it was superb.

For info, the seller (Greg Smith from Premier Performance Car Parts) contacted me today saying that he thought that they weren't fully carbon and asked if I wanted my money back.
I didn't , but found it commendable for him to be so transparent and upfront. Had a good chat afterwards on a couple of other Maserati topics as well.
And I just realised he is the OP :as001 (2): - good talking to you @breakeronly
