Maserati 3200 GT rear light on tailgate (trunk)

Hi guys,

How to change this small tail lights which are on the trunk ?
Mine are cracked ;(( need to replace them.

You can buy the lights from a main dealer for not much money. I went to Ross Peters at Meridien Modena and they were about £12 each plus VAT and postage. The part no. is 383100111. <= correct part number now

Fitting is easy, you unscrew the chrome and colour-coded plate, then unclip the connector in the power wires to the lights, then simply unscrew them from the plate. The only issue is that the screws are not galvanised so are probably rusty, and the replacements don't come with screws. I bought some new, black anodised screws for a better look.

Mine were replaced, the screws had to be drilled out and replaced. A simple job but took time.

That's good information tks, I've been meaning to remove the rusty screws for some time.

Remove the boot lid liner by carefully prising out the plastic fixings and then you have full access to the lights , unplug the connector and then undo the fixings I think there are are two, takes about 15 minutes.
