Maserati 3200 Grand Tourer - Why have a BMW M3?

Right, here's the problem and why I am here - evening all by the way - I want to own one, always have done as long as I can remember. BUT - Im scared - I guess that sounds like a Maserati owner?
I dont want or have a shed load to spend but I am at a time in my(mid) life (crisis) to feel I must take the plunge.
So what do I buy, I have had abid on the red Zagato Spyder on Ebay, got outbid and now not sure I want to take it further - absolutely love the car to bits but if i start get into spending £4k+ knowing its got electric problems with the door mirrors and front windows where will it stop. Aternatively, I also really like the blue 3200 also on Ebay. Advice needed guys!

Thanks for the welcome. Well budget wise I could go to around £25k for the right motor which I guess opens all the doors really depending on varying ages on the models, but I would rather not blow the lot on the purchase price as I would quite like a "safety net" pot and it would also mean scrubbing out a few other treats I have promised myself.

I have to say Pibbow's car is a beauty. Not that I am biased towards the 3200's!!!!

After Phil H's assetto corsa now unforunate;y gone out to Aussie ), Pibbows Car has to be the best out there and i mean the best , you would be very hard pressed to find and eqiverlant , never ever wanted for anything , the clue is ........ its an ex Meridian car ..... that should tell you loads

Thanks for the kind words all of you. It's not an ex meridien car they still do ALL the work on it! Long round trip I know but the drive is great. My time is very limited in the summer and being in Canada in the winter means it's one of the few times I get to enjoy it!
