Manifold and cats swap

Going to be changing my manifolds and front part of the exhaust next week, as my current set up has the cats in the manifold, and they are the cause of a few glitches iv had recently. Any recommendations or tips while it is being done? Can i reuse the gaskets etc? Got Larini sports cats coming, and already have the manifolds and X pipe to go on. (Currently have an H pipe).

Nice Mod.

You definitely want to install on new gaskets, also the engine heat shield is different between the US / Euro set up so might be worth considering getting a euro heat shield as it is mounted completely differently and you still want to protect the AC compressor / starter / oil pump fro the heat etc.

Also worth thinking about fitting new Lambda sensors if not recent already.

Worth messaging Tufan as he did this on his GS recently.

Be interested to see what difference it makes.

Cheers GP79, will do. Will contact Ross at Meridian and see what he can do for gaskets. Guess Soprano Stu is the best guy for heatshields. Lamda’s are a good shout, best place for them?
