Hi,

Heading to Machester on Monday fro Ireland, will be in Machester for a few days while Autoshield preform surgery on my QP.

Apart from canals and football (of which I have NO interest), how can I occupy my visit there? Any outstanding attractions?

Thanks,

Pat.

well you have a couple Museums ie the war museum, or peoples history museum, museum of transport.
then for a night out you have the comedy club, you also have the Victoria baths, open every wednesday iirc, China Town, and then if it floats your boat you have the casino complex.

Agreed, the comedy club in Manchester attracts excellent acts. And there are more great Indian restaurants than anyone would have the time or constitution to do justice to if you stayed there for a year and ate nothing but curry.

Manchester is a fine city.....friendly people....nice central area......great variety of restaurants and venues to go to.

Ask Marios for anything specific, if he doesn't know he knows lots who do and have contacts for the same.

Have fun, take it easy and enjoiy being spoilt by Marios and team

Or even better....phone up a local town centre estate agent.......ask them if they have any flats in Beetcham tower for sale and arrange a viewing the week before.........a view of 25 odd miles over the whole region....and you can even see the Corrie street set way below....:)

Hi,

Thanks for all you replies, some of them even sounded like they were written by adults!

One thing worries me though, do I need to have my hair in a particular style in order to fit in? Being challenged in the folical department, I am worried about being pointed at and being made fun of.
