MAF inspection/cleaning

Hello guys, greetings from over the pond. Was told there is a thread on the UK site regarding inspecting and cleaning the MAF, have tried the search function but no luck, anybody can post the link to that posting? thank you much,

I've never had any success when cleaning a MAF. They are so (relatively) cheap that I just replace at the first sign of trouble.

I guess I would +3 this. If its not working properly it usually doesn't change it by cleaning.
