Well I have had to bite the bullet and dig into our savings to find the 2k MOT bill and gave the go-ahead. Its a catch 22 situation, you can not walk away and nobody will buy when the work needs doing. At least next week I will have a tip-top 3200 again with 12 months MOT and another expensive receipt to add to its portfolio.

To be fair guys with 30 years plus on the spanners against all the modern repmobiles that give me headaches every day i have so far found my 4200cc a pleasure to work on and the information that is available i don't have too many fears for keeping my car going in good health.
It certainly makes it easier when people like Bill McGraths parts are so helpful.
I see that im a custodian of my car and have to look after it for the next generation.
Thats how i feel living in a 300 year old property.
