Anyone near Liverpool Street tomorrow from about 1630 onwards? Mrs Catman and myself are going out for dinner, but will be beer hunting in advance.

Can't remember the name but used to get us Kirin'ed on a Friday!
I am more the Railway Tavern type now - no money in the building trade now all the bankers gone bust!

Corney and Barrow I suspect? There are some nice pubs nearby, we quite like the Lord Aberconway, which is a Nicholson's joint.

It was lovely. One of our fave restaurants. Total bill was £40 for the pair of us. They don't have a licence though, so that keeps the cost down.
