Hi All
Just thought I'd introduce my dream car - a 2010 GTS MC Shift. I am one very happy owner, combining stunning looks, great performance and a soundtrack that I can only describe as a mix between a 458 and a C63AMG!!
I've owned several German performance cars in the past and have received mixed feedback, let's just say, but owning a Maserati is a real privilege and is in a truly different league! As the thread title reads, it really is my dream car....
I look forward to catching up with you all at some point in the future.
Cheers

A big warm welcome to the forum and what a stunning Maserati. Saw one very much like that at the Maserati dealer Meridien. Had the black on the side.

Hi Contigo
To be honest, I always thought they were out of my league in terms of cost of ownership. My dream car, but I thought I couldn't afford it. However, after spending time reading the forums, the reality is very different. They look and sound stunning, and to steal a phrase I saw on another thread - you get the most "smiles per mile"!
I also see you're in Newbury. I'm down the road in Headley. I'll keep my eye out for you.

Is that a Maserati badge on the roof too? Not seen that before...

Hi BigR
Yes, that's correct. I first saw it on a demo at Meridien and I believe you can get it in red, black or silver. The cost was approx £400. However, I wanted a carbon effect so I went to a local sign writer with a digital image of the trident, they took the dimensions of my roof, ran it through their computer programme and then transposed it on to my roof. They did a fantastic job and you'd be hard pushed to tell the difference between the stock one from Maserati and theirs. If I remember correctly it cost approx £150.

Yes indeed, I think a lot of people dismiss them the same as you did but once they go trident they become loyal to it. This forum is the best and I'm glad you have had the usual great welcome which everyone gets.

I drive through Headley a lot to get to our office in Farnborough so I will keep an eye out for you and hope you can come to some of the local meets which we organise. I saw a GT like yours with the Trident symbol across the roof on TV a minute ago here in Qatar.
