A real mixed bag, some parts are cringe worthy other parts about the heritage hit home.

I know i'm in a small minority but I agree with what they are doing and I like the car. Only Ferrari can make money out of selling 7000 sports cars a year as they make $30,000 profit per car.If Maserati is to survive and make another GT and launch the Alferi then the Levante must sell in decent numbers. I like the look of the car and I have put my name down on the list as I will most likely get rid of the Macan for the Levante later this year.
Has anyone else changed their mind?

To be fair, it looks alright, as a car I do like it, still not got my head around the SUV thing yet, but I am trying.

The snorting exhaust sold it to me I think :)

The grill styling is straight off the Alfieri and looks very good.

As for the narrative, what a load of old bo11ocks!

Q - Has anyone else changed their mind?

A - Not here I afraid to say.

The dubbed exhaust note on the second advert was dreadful and if it does come from the car it will be the range topper petrol. Derv will no doubt have the soundtrack delivered via cassette tape or MP3 via the rear external speaker...As for pure silk trim...good god man!

I really like that! The interior is very similar to my Ghibli - that extended red leather is just superb! I'll definitely be going to have a look when they're out, it's a possible Ghibli replacement for me.

As far as the luxury SUV market goes, I like it.
However I generally don't like luxury SUV's!
For me, a luxury SUV has to be capable off road, true off road.
There is still only one luxury SUV that is still capable, (borderline though compared to earlier models) the Rangey.
My mate has one of the latest 'full size' Range Rovers and we took it off road locally down a proper washed away green lane.
True 2 wheels in the air stuff across axles, he was having kittens to be honest, it was only a few months old, but it survived!
I don't think this Maser would have survived, nor would the Porsche or BMW equivalent!

I've already been in touch with my favourite main dealer (Ridgeway in Oxford) and asked for a test drive when they get one in. He reckons October hopefully. I'll report back then!

IIRC target entry price for the UK was £55k, so similar to the Ghibli. I'd be surprised if it was £45k.

I tow a horse box in muddy fields with the Macan and its been fine so far. I do need an SUV for this reason so for me I can't have a QP or a Ghibli as a daily so the Levante is a very interesting.

If its anything like Porsche you will need to add £10-15k to the list price to get a decent car. The basic Macan had cloth, comedy 17inch wheels and no sun roof. That's £8k to fix that before you start with the toys.

I'm not daft/rich enough to buy a brand new one. I'd wait for the dealers to heavily spec a nice demo car and then take it off them for a big discount if I was buying. I did exactly this with my Ghibli and saved £22k by buying one a few months old with 4K miles.

Be interested to see if this is the case with the Levante or if the supply of RHD cars is limited so there will be no overhang like we have with the Ghibli.

The Youtube Video says 75,900 Swiss Francs so about £54K entry level.

Yes really liked it would like to see the interior.

Not in the market for an SUV yet, but when and if I am then might well be at the top of my list depending on the servicing costs as the Macan/Cayenne is sub £500 and this would need to be comparable. Not interest in a Range Rover as I wouldn't be taking it off road anyway.

Is the VAT regime different in Swits?

Also has production of the Ghibli re started now?
