Range is all you need in this snow

I'll second that!!
Got caught in it yesterday...had to walk the last 3 1/2 miles to my house, luckily I had a big coat, hat and gloves...
will see if I can get Emma back today.
P...Andy...you have no idea how relieved I was today when I got her back home
Came back from Oxfordshire last night via M4.
Is it any surprise the roads are full of Jack-Knifed trucks????...I was quite content doing 50mph in Lane 1 as the other two were white without any tyre tracks at all as the snow continued fo fall...Was expecting the odd 4x4 to pass, but no... every artic raced passed doing 60mph + bumper to bumper...madness.
If I saw any of the families trucks doing this I would have them sacked!
...I can imagine....its like leaving one of your children!!!!
P
I have one of those hi vis coats....the one like the Police wear.....Its lovely and warm for my walk to work at 0600 in the morning...In fact it was too bloody warm.....Have walk to work for the last two days there and back....its around 2.5 miles one way. Love a good walk in the morning..clears the mind.
They have all been watching Ice Road Truckers and imagine everyone else on the road is just another moose that does not matter....
Winds me up almost as much as elephant racing on 2 lane sections of the M11 and A1 (elephant racing = where it takes 4 miles to pass because they are both restricted but one is to 56.0002 mph not 56.0mph)
Great idea to have a high viz coat (or vest) in the car...
wish I had one last night! the last mile or so was down a country road,
no streetlights, no pavement...the brightest thing I was wearing was my chattering teeth!
luckily very few cars (and they were travelling slower than I was walking)...
PM me your address Enzo and I will post you a free viz vest.
I get more admiring looks when driving the Pagoda than I ever get when in the GS. I think that it is probably one of the prettiest cars ever made. Every angle works.
I don't use it much, I take it out for an early Sunday morning run of about 150 miles once a month so long as the roads are dry and there is no salt around. Otherwise it sits in the garage or on the drive, looking beautiful
