Sadly I needed to work on the family hack (Saab 95 Aero Estate) so both the GS and my '69 280sl were caught outside :(

Its not perfect, I welded in all new sills, floor pan, firewall and boot floor two years ago. This led to a complete refurb of the interior at the same time. I then rebuilt the top of the engine and all the injection system last winter wich led on to a full detail of the engine bay! The body looks great but I can see the faults, so am planning a bare metal respray at some point.

I get more admiring looks when driving the Pagoda than I ever get when in the GS. I think that it is probably one of the prettiest cars ever made. Every angle works.

I don't use it much, I take it out for an early Sunday morning run of about 150 miles once a month so long as the roads are dry and there is no salt around. Otherwise it sits in the garage or on the drive, looking beautiful :)

Even snowed in Chepstow today....and my first post of the day....a first for a Saturday not to hit the goodmorning thread.....Had to go to work for a few hours today..saw the snow at 0500 this morning and decided I would need to walk...got in at 0600 and left at1830..what a flecking day.....Bloody vehicles jackknifed all over the region...loads of deliveries uncovered....Back in tomorrow to make sure we get back on track...Bloody snow.

The normal 30 minute or so journey from MK to my home took us over 3 hours today. I can honestly say though that its the first time I was pleased to be in the Mini not the GS - I dont think it would have liked the journey (given it was hard enough getting it back on the drive!)

Could'nt get my 4200 off the driveway this morning bloody snow as Andy would say had to use the trusty Range Rover Vogue P38 with Mitsubishi 2.8 Shogun transplant in it and its worth its wait in gold around here.

......theres always one or two downsides to trying to run 390bhp through the fat rear tyres of an Italian super car!!!
