The leather in my GS is due for a clean and condition.

I have tried using the Swissvax leather cleaner and leather milk but it is too strong for the Bordeaux.

If you have any suggestions as to what are the best products for Maserati leather (Bordeaux in particular), then please suggest. :)

with thanks,
Felix

The conditioner smell of leather is not for eveveryone's taste

I used Glibtone and yes it does what it says but the smell got right up Mrs Eb's and the Eblets nose's. Very strong for a while after you apply!

swissvax milk is very good and i use this but not much as most if not all leather these days do not need conditioner as its just a painted surface compared to old leather that was dyed.

best option is a good cleaner which most are (as recommeded above) I use zymol cleaner with a warm very light damp cloth and clean the leather, also use a shoe brush for dirty areas

once clean - with another warm clean cloth take off the excess and let dry. i then sometimes use a very little milk which adds protection but recently switching to gtechniq L1 as it leaves more of a satin/dull finish plus adds the gtechniq nano protection

I do also have gliptone cleaner which is good

Thank you all for the suggestions.

It seems that Gliptone is quite popular and sounds like a good product.

I have also heard of another product called Leatherique which gets plenty of good reviews. Apparently it is quite labour intensive though.

Kind regards

Gliptone and a nail brush or tooth brush depending on the area you are treating. Steering wheel gliltone cleaner and a tooth brush followed by a a light scrub with a magic sponge. Then wipe down with a damp microfibre cloth.

Seats gliptone cleaner and nail brush x 2 if needed followed by the gliptone conditioner by hand and not too much or you will slip for weeks.

You can see how much dirt it lifts out specially around the perforated leather and the bottom half of the steering wheel. Just don't use the conditioner on the steering wheel.
