Le Mans...to bling or not to bling...

Apart from the colours Enzo, that's pretty much exactly what I'm doing to the Aston! Yellow stripe up the bonnet, around the grille aperture and down the bootlid and rear. Flags, race number, closer the the time get a 'Le Mans 24' sticker from Hollographics http://www.hollographics.com/lemans/index.html they now have the official stickers for the race, designs released very soon!
I know you're just mocking up, but I would make it all a little thinner, that's all. The Scuderia/16M style, or maybe twin stripes, moving up either side of the bonnet badge, over the roof and down the bootlid and rear end? But the Italian flag works for the car, and works for YOU

I am looking to bling the motor and have been on the Hollographics web site and registered, they then sent through a 10 percent discount voucher on orders placed.
Already purchased Mas logo's for the side of the car plus looking at sunvisor too,
But as with anything on this there is a line which a car may look good and then turn into.......well not so good!!

Aaaahhh,,,
This is what happens.....a quiet night and I have a quick look on the forum and decals and logos are being discussed.... I am such a tart ...no offence to anyone!
So far.... I have Martini, Gulf (of course!) and Heuer decals plus in the the correct font as my car the maserati wording to go along the car door... joy of joys!
Looking to possibly do chrome silver stripes over the whole car..........I know, but there is this part of me that just says do it do it .........

Nice idea Enzo, agree woth what lewis says, i think the stripe is too wide. Andy made a good point about a stradale style stripe, that was the same on that red 575 i posted a couple of days ago; personally, i would go for a 16M style stripe, i prefer the look of the thinner stripes.

Not strictly a forum event, but a few of us go down. Last year was the first one, 5 or so of us went down and stayed in a cottage an hour south of LM. Cracking trip, some classic drives!
This year is Peter's stag do and mostly the same faces again with some new recruits. Same cottage, same drives I hope
