Hi All

Thought I would post this as it would be interesting to read your reports on the road trip and event. Any funny stories ? I did look around for SM members cars but only found some french QP's and some 4200's. We were in Juane parking zone. From what I saw there were not many Masers at the event. As usual it was flooded with Porsches. Did I miss an entire field of Maserati's ?

For us all went well. A thousand trouble free miles from Home, Baccon, La Touanne, Lille and return. Friday at Le Mans blessed with some sunshine in between the clouds. Did it rain Saturday, Sunday at the track ? We buggered off to Baccon Saturday morning and stayed at a fantastic Chateau ( La Touanne, Baccon )

Lashed down all day Saturday enroute to Lille but the car was a joy and performed well. Just one burn up to report. That was with a 7 series on the motorway to Lille in wet conditions. He was giving me headlights at 130mph and looking in my boot the cheeky sod so I let him pass and stayed with him for a mile or two but with four up and in the wet it was best too hold off. Glad I took the scanner !! Great hotel in Lille ( Hotel Barrier 5* ) and a night in the casino.

My remarkable story is 1137 miles with not a blink of any error lights or CEL. In fact she was sweeeet all the way there and back.

Hi Arnie

Good to hear you had no problems. Not even a speeding ticket :) Was it raining at Le Mans on Sat / Sun ?

Rained on Saturday but the weather held out on Sunday and ended up being sunny. I also managed 1000 miles of trouble free motoring!
