On the look out for some Larini back boxes, valved would be preferred for those more stealthy times, but non fine.
Missed out on Dave's recently (mainly as I worried it may be a little too loud... silly me), so anyone else know of any second hand ones up for grabs?

Thanks Matt. Very helpful

The remote's a cool feature, and I guess the valve can be shut before starting the car when needed? Anyone know / got one?

I have got a pair of stock Gransport stainless steel valved boxes forsale if your interested, which like matt said , its possible to fit a switch solenoid and vacumm system very easily, think Mike roberts would probably charge around £100 all in to fit the boxes and remote opening

I was kinda keeping them for when i sell the car if the new owner wouldn't want the larini vakved boxes , but for £600 i'd let them go

Cheers for the offer Loz,

Will take a rain check, as Elliot has PM'd me with an offer on the Larini's he bought, but took off as he found them too loud.
So, I'm going to give them a shot, and if I find the same as he did, I'll give you a shout because that would no doubt be the perfect middle ground... if you've still got them then

Loz are the GS values boxes much louder than the standard 4200 exhaust

Yes with the valves open and no with them closed , Roger who we met at Robins pub that time has GS boxes on his 4200 , has them permanently open i think , not sure whether he's had the vacuum solenoid fitted yet , worth a pm you would have remembered if they were extraordinary loud , lood enough to hear the whoosh and grunt

A big thanks to 'Elliott' for spotting this thread and posting out to me SO promptly.

Had them fitted this morning and they sound.... epic! I can see how you would have felt them "a bit too loud" in the city, though Elliott. Lets see what my locals think...!

I'm delighted that you like them! I got a bit carried away with wrapping them though. I hope you didn't mind.
