I always thought Burn was one of the best driving albums ever made. Sad loss for sure.

I am now fully aware my heroes are disappearing. I fell a little older today!

RIP Mr Lord. you have certainly contributed to some seminal musical moments for me.

It was Ronnie James Dio who started the thing two years ago... Purple, Rainbow, Whitesnake, Black Sabbath were my icons back in my childhood. Love them like i know them for ages.. I take the plane from Greece and fly to Munich just to watch one show. I did a 4-gig tour last year in some Greek cities.Stayed in the same hotels... Don't feel older, but lonely.Sabbath's Iommi also suffers from cancer..

Sad news indeed, a good excuse to update my play lists though; not enough Deep Purple on there...

Likewise, sad when your heroes start to die off. Time to dig out all that old vinyl and remember those teenage years !
