“awkward angles...”!,!?
Shut up .....

And what’s happened to the Gransport review if he’s working his way through the back catalog...?
Nah.. I’m out. He’s annoying, like Dougie D’ouchebag annoying...! :p:D:bart_simpson-226:

Some interesting comments - his conversations with owners and the Maserati specialists suggested that the Granturismo is just as problematic as the models before - 3200 and 4200.

maybe I have been lucky... and I hope this trend continues, but having had 4 different ones, they were more reliable than the Mercs and BMWs I have had?

Also, based on the feedback and comments on this forum, most of us all seem to have trouble free cars (well apart from the battery related false alerts).

well, I think it will be a problem if one believes that the car could be bought for 20k and with a maintenance cost like a 20k car.... then the future owner would probably end up with a nasty surprise when the car is not maintained properly.

what are all your experience on the reliability of your Granturismo?

He was a lot more positive in this one than on the earlier models, I’d still like to see him have a go in a GranSport and a QPV.

This JayEmm chap has something of a young Clarkson in the way he speaks.
You can definitely tell the influence, its not a bad thing at all imo its a nice change that he’s actually focusing on the cars and not a vlogger or clickbaitytype deal.

Bought my 2016 new off the lot at a deep discount as it was late in 2017. So being the original owner now for 4 summers.....zero major issues....did have to replace the battery this year though. That's it.

Like wise! Never really had any major issues though with my 2008 4.2 and now 2016 Sport it seems like my bushings have completely failed. Something that would definitely not happen with the German brands...

And I think we all know and agree that the subframes rust badly, so you need to get them descaled and properly treated with Dinitrol or similar or else your GT or QPV will start to rot out at a surprisingly young age and low miles. Always check prior to purchase!

so did this not effect the Gransport ? Don't hear of it happening to this model.

The grin just after 10 minutes tells you exactly what he thinks of the car.

He also needs to wring the neck of it at 7,000 rpm to get the full effect of it in Sport.

Starting to happen as they get older and some members have repaired or changed them.
Both I had were rust free though.
The second would never have got into New Zealand otherwise.

The car in the vid does look well used and rather tired IMO.

Agree, it does Pete .....

I have watched a few of his stuff and sometimes I think what a cock nostrel and other times not so. Not made up my mind yet.
