@c4sman In true SM style, it’s being discussed on the thread @MarkMas created for when they’re for sale:

And it’s definitely Granito ;)

Was thinking the same Dicky...No way was that Nero.....Must say every time I see one of these it still gets my heart racing. Beautiful car and what a noise. The one you have for sale looks lovely Dicky. Cannot be many about these days. In such great condition.

He clearly cannot read the paint label. Unless it has had a replacement 2nd hand bonnet.

There are no labels at all under the bonnet on mine. Wonder if it was because it went straight to the Republic of Ireland?

He seems to have an obsession with the sunroof. They never make any sense to me...Noisy when open and don’t particularly do much.

Agreed, a sunroof is no reason to buy or not buy a car! I don't like them or see the point either. I like the new glass Pano fixed roofs as it makes the cabin so much lighter/airier

It might not be for a car that’s likely to spend its life in a garage, but if it lives outside it’s a problem. Admittedly more so for older cars - blocked, rusted, leaky sunroofs are the bane of many an old car. They’re a pain to fix, and expensive.

The process for fixing a W123 lid peeler is horrendous.

I'd agree with that too. My XJL has a double glass sun roof and is nice to have the effective glass roof but I never use the sunroof and it needs fairly regular lubrication to stop it squeeking.

As you say, many leak and cause issues so for me a sunroof has more downside than upside. A fixed pano.glass roof seems to be the way forward.

Absolutely agree on the pano roof. It’s a worthwhile option on cars these days.
