So its happened apart the Park off sign coming on and handbrake not working or sticking on when parked, like the common cold that wont go away :)

We have the seat gremlins, for no reason the seats don't return to their forward position if you let someone get in the back !!! I went to a porsche meetup last night to meetup with sold old friends and tempt them to go Italian and took a few out for a spin, they got in the back and the seat went forward but when put it back to allow front passenger in the seat didn't go back and had to manually move it.

Any tricks or ideas !!

Also when the gearbox is not up to full temperature can MC shift mode be a bit jerky ? I came into the car park and had only just engaged MC mode and was in first, pulling forward it seemed to kangaroo ? Went out later and car up to full temperate and had been for 15 minutes and all seemed ok.

The porsche guys loved the noise and were impressed at the pull of the car and how beatiful she looked :) and a good friend Doug is selling his Turbo for a crazy figure considering it must have held its value really well and that he loved it but he wanted something more than a go kart !! He wants to go for a second spin out :)

My passenger one does. Always has, maybe it always will. Have tried all sorts of things, nothing seems to work.

Re the MC mode, it shouldn't work at all until everything's up to temperature. The kangaroo thing happens if you don't let the car run through a pre-flight checks before you start it. Turn the ignition on, wait for most of the dash warning lights to go out and then start. When giving it the beans in MC do you ever get a "gear unavailable" warning and the shift is a bit clunky?

Does the Park Off warning come on apparently at random when you're driving? Perhaps when you're caught in traffic? From some digging round on MaseratiLife this *seems* like it could be due to a voltage drop. My battery is quite new but did go completely flat once so may need replacing (under the Bosch warranty). I guess that could sort it. Maybe.

Well I'll be jiggered... looks like for the first time in my ownership of the car the passenger seat tilts helpfully forward to allow passengers in (and out) without doing it manually. To expand on what the Genius Loz said, the process I followed is:

a) unlock car
b) in through the driver's door
c) ignition on but engine not started
d) use the fore/after switch on the passenger seat to go forwards / back / forwards / back
e) tilt the seat forwards (using the silver knobs, not the tilt switch)
f) watch in wonder as it goes all the way forwards and all the way back, twice
g) hope that it worked.

Hi Adam

Think it was just odd moment when had got to temp barely and then I pulled up and went into neutral then first and pulled away, not sure if me being jumpy on pedal been OK since

I'm thinking of disconnecting the battery park off light seems to be low voltage or when turning, common fault it seems. Drives me nuts but more because I like lights to stay off lol

How's those x pipes ? You got any videos uploaded with them fitted ?

Does the radio require a code if battery disconnected ?

Same as the coupe process

C

Cobblers! Didn't work. Well, worked once and then forgot again. Next will try with passenger door open as well.

Agree re warning lights. If they're talking shite I'd prefer they stayed off. Will see if I can swap out the battery.

X-pipe video here - http://youtu.be/Q4OlMYPjkOU. Love it! Gear changes were a bit slow - turned out the clutch was nearing the end of its natural. Was probably on around 70% worn when this video was taken.

As far as I can tell you shouldn't need reset codes after a battery reset. You will need to put he key in the ignition and turn it on to authenticate yourself but that *should* be it.
