Ok then, say you did win the lottery, I know most of us would head for a dealership, so which car would you buy first?

Me, I think I would go Lamborghini first, a nice Avantor or what ever they are called.

I would buy the following

Granturismo S (daily workhorse)
RS6 (daily snotter number 2)
Aventador
360 CS
MC12 ( i would have to find one)
CLK DTM
R8 GT
NSX
Exige S1 with a VTEC conversion
Zonda
F50
F40
LP640

Then a separate garage for the older stuff.

E30 M3 Sport Evo
Quattro SWB
RS200
037
Integrale
Stratos
Renault 5 Maxi Turbo
288 GTO
250 Lusso
Miura

Think i am done although i have probably missed something.

My first move would be to visit Modena and Bologna to have my drivers seats personally tailored to suit my needs , then whilst on a Riviera somewhere i'd be on my lappy sourcing a few beauts for the garage which would be being built , oh and i'd buy some paper clips ran out yesterday

i dont like how its looks, but being the fastest on the road and going for it once in your life at 250+ does appeal. I could do it once then sell it

Ok then, say you did win the lottery, I know most of us would head for a dealership, so which car would you buy first?

FIRST car would be a Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe from Jack Barclay in Mayfair. I'd then use this to drive to Maranello in Egham for a GranCabrio and 458 Spider. Lambo would have to wait for the ragtop Aventador ;)

My Aston buying would be done at the factory direct. Factory DBS Volante then straight to Bamford Rose for 7.2 litre conversion. Also I;d be getting to Geneva for the mortor show and ordering the new V12 Vantage Roadster rumoured to be appearing.

Can also use the Rolls to tour the auction houses and pick up the classic collection (Dino, 400 SuperAmerica, DB6 Volante, DB4 GT, XKSS, Bentley Continental Fastback) plus a trip to Eagle to get a very, very expensive early E-Type roadster. A proper old 1929 Bentley with Le Mans body as well please, just for some fun at La Sarthe!

Would need to get cars eligable to race at Classic Le Mans and Goodwood Revival as well. Nothing competitive, would just be for the fun of being there. Probably Astons or Jags.

And just for fun, I'd have my Rover Coupe rebuilt with a V8 and rear wheel drive for some chav-based antics :)

Problem with a £1MM classic is will you use it? Every time you take it out, you knock value off it, you can never risk hammering it either. Useable classics are where it's at!

Lewis.......your total came to £5.6 million.......;)

Yes.....£1 million car would be a not brilliant version of a £ 2million car.......needs a paint job and new interior.....do that after 5 yrs.......only do 1-2k miles a year........
