Well it is an AC so I am thinking its worth saving. You could do the work yourself with parts from DA. £500 on paint £200 jig work and £500 on used parts, go on, save the old girl. You can use the insurance money.

Not an insurance job and not an AC, needs at least 5k to fix. Owes me 5k and worth 7k on a good day given the mileage.. And that's including doing the bolt off/on work myself.

Sorry, my mistake, I saw the wheels and got hoodwinked!

Oddly it is actually listed as an AC on the V5, allthough definetly is'nt one. Parts would be worth more too.. Meh!

Oh well, you obviously checked thoroughly. Did you put the wheels on or did it come with them?

Aside from change the battery, that's been my entire involvement with the car. Aside from visit it in a vareity of garages and bodyshops, you'd be susprised just how many places won't touch the suspension on a Maser. Especially if the wheel has popped out of it's top joint ( it did that just as it was being unloaded at mine.... that was the start of the downward spiral ).
