Is it just me or are 3200 parts getting more expensive!

Just inquired about a rear suspension arm and it seems to me to be about £250-300 more than it was a couple of years ago? I also reckon the arm bushes have gone up by 50%.

Are 3200 parts getting scarce? Anyone got a take on this?

Alot of the components have stopped being made unfortunately. I recently replaced a Pierburg Valve and had to go used as they don't make them anymore. Thank god that there are people like McGrath and David Askew out there who have used stock available.

The 4200 will more than likely follow next...

And prices must surely only end up going one way....Best kepp hold of my 3200 steering wheel that I have in the roof as may be worth something in 20 years time :)

My thoughts when moving to 4200 was that the drivetrain (4200 430 GT QP etc.) would mean parts/expertise would be far greater than 3200 (last of the TRUE) Maseratis & therefore much easier/cheaper to maintain in the long rim . 3200 while being more rare would consequently become costlier to maintain.

worrying times, I guess need to just keep going until some thing is not available that stops it working!

The OEM parts have risen shockingly over the past 18 months, but sadly this seems usual once the 10 year agreement expires. It'll be exactly the same for the 4200's and GS's.
