Is it going to be one of those years for famous people dying?

RIP Zephaniah. There is still a painting of him in Handsworth/Villa Cross. Talented guy.
Where’s the one in Handsworth?

There used to be one at the Custard Factory but I think it’s been painted over.

It always feels like the number of losses seems to go faster towards the end of the year, as it they need to get a quota in, sure its just a feeling and not substantiated by Catman facts.

RIP Benjamin and Ryan

Oh, no! Captain Holt!

Andre Braugher, the two-time Emmy winning actor who starred in the hit television series “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and “Homicide: Life on the Street,” died Monday after a brief illness. He was 61.

I can say that you and the character of Captain Holt have a lot in common but he would never wear a V-Neck sweater.

Not so much famous as well known in Maserati circles - I've just heard that David Askew, the parts supplier in Leicestershire has died.

I had missed some of those as well.

But let us also remember those more ordinary folk that make up our family and friends who we have lost……

I certainly raised a glass or two “to absent friends” over the past week…….
