Is an Assetto Corsa the MC-Victory equivalent for 3200?

My old one (with Larinis). Beautiful car, but my third 3200 and first auto - made me realise that auto wasn't the one for me. It's surprising how few manuals there are, given it was sold as a 'race orientated' model.View attachment 70397

Thanks, it was a beaut. Stayed in contact with the next owner for a few years, but he sold it on in about 2016. Pic was at Fettes school in Edinburgh..... my favoured car photography location for years, but sadly they've put a big barrier at the gates now (not because of me specifially I don't thnk; they were getting too many Harry Potter fans visiting it!).

Twelve years ago, I was a Project Manager for Grosvenor Estates looking after all his villages, house, shops, estates (he has a lot). One of the villages (Eaton) looked very similar to that. There was a chap who rented one of the houses and he had a red 3200 and I just thought this might of been the car in Eaton.............BTW at the time I worked there the Duke owned a QP and apparently insisted on driving it instead of the chauffeur..........Apparently!

I’ve never had one before, most are SORN’d in collections I believe. How many left, which usually has inaccurate data says 21 U.K. manuals in total.

I used to live in in Lavister and see the Duke in his QP at the village shop regularly.

He had 'Eyebrows'..............And good taste!!

In the other markets, you could choose another colour than the red/black/silver.
Mine is bianco birdcage and avorio inside (13/30, from Japan).

The MCV is more hardcore, inside and on the road (suspension are firmer, seats not so comfy, exhaust note more present...).
Very different cars, but they complete each others quite well.

I guess that allowing for write-offs and exports, that’s probably around 50:50 auto manual. People obviously hang on to manuals longer

Then devide by roughly 3 for colour, so one of roughly six cars.
There is a list of all know ones to us on here, I tried to keep it up to date so fairly accurate.
