Interesting quirk...

I had the dreaded CEL come on, plugged in my OBDII reader, and no codes or pending codes came up.
Did a battery reset...light goes out...then comes back on...plugged in reader...and again....no faults!
Anyone experienced this before??

Not personally, but it sounds like Italian character! Some aftermarket OBD2 readers can't read all faults so it might be an idea to get it checked out by an Indie.

Which CEL was it Tubber? Engine or gearbox?

Engine. I should also mention that the car is running well, no indications of any problems mechanically.
Strange isn't it??

They pop up occasionally......had one a year ago.......stopped...checked engine oil and pressures, did a reset....waited a while and off I went...not showed on a check up either

Yup....figured she was just pushing my buttons!! LOL

Now I get to experience the joy of replacing the fan resistor!! Woo Hoo!!
Who knows, maybe that's her way of reminding me who's boss!!!
