Little things please me a lot!

I have only had my 2008 GT for about 5 months, yet to clear the garage (19yrs or so) so the car has been out in the snow .

It is very much a weekend car and I have been a bit concerned about the battery reading other posts about the problems of letting it go flat. I have been thinking about various options for an LED in the console compartment behind the cup holders but that would be tricky (for me) to do. So I have installed on of these in the boot. Also has the benefit of not need to remove the boot floor to get to the battery.

That looks a neat job..!! A few have done this kind of battery conditioner boot connection and they seem to work very well and you have an indicator on battery condition, great.

Oh that is neat.

My Ctek is just sits in the boot and I simply unplug the mains lead and throw the plug and lead into the boot. This is much better.

I have the original Maserati branded CTEK charger; just bought monitor and an extension lead. Google "CTEK 56-380 Comfort Indicator Panel"

Oooh, there's clever. I shall have to get one before I put the boot back together.

This has come at the right time, I was only just discussing buying a trickle charger with Geoff yesterday.
Looks very neat and definitely the way to go.

Is the plug an optional extra or does it come with the charger?

Which model ctek charger did you go for?

Just read this after my previous post!
I suspect the maserati ctek would probably be a lot more expensive than a regular ctek so can anyone advise which of the ctek range would be sufficient for our cars?

That's what I have. Mine is the superior model which costs more, has fewer lights but comes in a nice blue logo and silver writing............
