Info on biturbo

Hi All,
Have recently purchased a 1993 2000cc 224 bi turbo, would like more info. The car has full leather, has full wood pack including dash , full body kit (skirts,front/rear spoilers bonnet vents are turned round so the air is forced in.The car was originally black , could it be bi turbo racing as it is an italian car,and it has 2intercoolers .

Well done on your purchase, she sounds really good. My only comment and I do not know everything, is the bonnet vents, watch it in the rain as it sounds like the water will just pour on to your electrics, not good..!! Great in sunshine though..!!

Hi , your car it's not a Racing , the Racing model was done only on the 224 and you can tell from the chassis number .
Your car it's an early car and the bonnet vents where like that at the start and then they moved them on the later cars.
Your car looks nice and also another thing you have the front wings of a biturbo , if you look at images of 222 , 224 , 424 , 430 you will be able to see the difference .
They are fantastic cars if you need any help with electrics you can call any time and I will help you

Thank you all for the welcome,have just worked out from vin it is a 1987 car and there other numbers show it a bi turbo 2 door same as racing, and it's a bender next to it as it's kept at my factory.The wheels were specially made compermotive by previous owner .the car has the window switches behind the gear lever, what dose the same type of switch next to gear lever do and the one under the steering wheel.Also is it a Maserati thing that the light only work with ignition turned on,I did buy the car as a non runner and have managed to gelt it runing again it has only done 39000km.
