Incoming phone calls

I have a 2018 Granturismo. I can be driving along listening to the radio at a sedate volume when my phone rings. The ring tone comes through the speakers and seems to be at full volume. So much so that my wife screams when it rings and I've nearly crashed frantically scrambling for the volume control! I can't figure out how to change the settings so the phone rings at a reasonable volume. Does anyone know the solution to this? TIA

Assuming you're on bluetooth you need to turn the ringer down on your phone, not on the car....

Have you tried turning down the 'stereo' volume knob when the phone is ringing?
