I'd like to buy a Strad. Anyone selling a decent one for a good price

Opposite for boats. I saw adverts for two very similar boats yesterday (same make, model, age, etc). In Spain, £130k. Here, £220k. Crazy.
I watched a video on you tube a while ago about a guy who bought his Princess V40 in Spain. Was £30k cheaper( I think) and he powered it back over a week or something.

I think these days importing/exporting boats and cars is slightly more complicated by the big white elephant in the room… The boat market is still very hot compared to Europe and the LHD car market in the U.K. is on its ****…

I would not like to take a lake/med/coast boat like a Princess V40 across the Bay of Biscay. Or worse still past Gibraltar, round the Cabo da Roca, and into the Atlantic.

Sure you can cross France via canal. At least you could in the 80‘s when my neighbours took their boat from UK to Spain.

Yep. You still can. Or you can have it transported (by land or sea), or pay a skipper to sail it back for you. So there are plenty of options. If/where tax has been paid on it is another consideration.

The Princess v40 is a good boat. Ideal in the Med as a day/weekend boat. Well made, also.

Was there not a choice of wheels? And it wouldn't be unusual for Maserati to change design mid-run. Just a thought.

I've checked the brochure and you're right, these were the wheel options for the GranTurismo MC Stradale Centennial:

So, on that particular car, they are the Trofeo Design wheels which have been refurbed in a dark matt grey:

I prefer the MC Design wheels as they are exclusive to the Centennial.

I bet they are a nightmare to refurb and costly too with accents on them

If I remember I’ll see if o can find a link to the you tube channel. If I remember the next trip was to cross to France and then up to the Norwegian fjords
