The Grigio Pietra Strad is down to £56k:

Not sure if it is a good example or not but still
my favourite colour on a 4 seater Stradale and not sure but feels like the only one in this colour in the UK. I think it looks fantastic at seems good value at 55k.

Absolutely, it’s also got little chance of selling at the price he’s asking either.

Hi M. Thanks for your comments, although we agree on the car, the rest of your comments are incorrect. The DVLA and Maserati have registered this car as an MC Stradale (on V5C and on line). The system we use for our web site which also feeds into Autotrader is linked to the DVLA. Our advert actually states that the car is an MC. Unfortunately it doesn't matter how many times we amend it our end, the link to the DVLA keeps altering the advert and listing it as an MC Stradale. We have spoken to Autotrader who are trying to help us. The advert and the pricing are correct for an MC of this age and mileage. We are a small business who pride ourselves on the quality of our cars and our service. As you can imagine negative review of any kind is taken seriously and our preference is to have a chat directly with you, if you have any questions or concerns. Unfortunately we don't have any contact details for you. Rest assured we are not trying to falsify anything about the car, and would much rather Maserati had registered the car correctly with DVLA in the first place. We do have the V5C and an email from Maserati to confirm this, would you need further clarification. Please feel free to reach out on 01403 627100 or sales@anthonyjamescars.com. We would love to discuss and hopefully g

Fair enough, I would say that was a fair response, but if you look on the FB group they try to make posts of cars for sale and pretend it is a private sale rather than a dealer which makes me a little less empathetic

Not the only one, the one advertised as a "MC Stradale" from Auto100 although it is in the correct section on Autotrader, along with the above AJ car now.

I really don’t understand why AT don’t simply allow the “auto fill” detail to be editable- that way traders could be held accountable without making excuses.

This is more common than you think. Remember buying an A4 and about 5 were advertised as autos when they were manuals.

And don't get me started on the "Mc Shift" that seems to be on every GT for sale !!

When I bought my first QPV (when it was about 10 years old) the dealer listed it with heated seats, which it did not have. He said the same sort of thing: it was just automatically downloaded from the standard spec. To be fair to him, on the end he paid for them to be retro-fitted.

Facebook market place is the same, pre fills the transmission as auto when it’s not and mileage is always KM’s

Annoying

It does seem really odd that FB marketplace would not list UK cars in miles, not km. I can only assume some big cheese at FB in the US reluctantly agreed to do kms 'for Europe' and then nobody dared to ask for permission to change it back to miles for the UK.

I’m not on FB but having met the guy he seems pretty straight and his premises is a pristine with well presented cars. I think we all have to be careful condemning people on social media a little too hastily.

I used to have a Stradale Centennial and now a later 69 plate MC Nerrisimo. The log book says MC Stradale in the same way on both so the response seems fair. The cars are not registered correctly with the DVLA. My current car should state MC Nerrisimo but there is no mention of this unless you know the car and look at all the options ticked from new
