Some of you may remember that I wrote on here late last year I was leaving the fold to go to Mercedes because of the lack of technology within the Gran Turismo. Well I tried and tried to drag myself away from the Maserati mark and just couldn't bring myself to do it.

After much searching I've found a beautiful white Stradale with only 6000 miles and I'm collecting on Easter Friday

Pictures to follow

Nick, 2 seater or 4?

I have been casually looking for a 2 seater Strad for a while now, but not found anything that grabs me on price and colour/spec.

This is why these cars are so good, they just get under your skin.

4 Seater as more practical for me.
I'd been casually looking for a year as I really wanted a red one but that limits me to a centenary model. I missed one so broadened my colour search slightly as I didn't want a dark colour so went for white.
Good price and they gave me quite a good trade in deal too.
Cannot wait.

Dont want to put dealer pictures on I'm afraid
I'm a bit shy.
Once I pick my new mistress up there'll be plenty to drool over.

Welcome to Club Strad. You'll understand that you've made the right choice within the first 10 minutes of driving away.

Now get an X-Pipe on it ! :)

Visit to Oulton on Easter Monday? Perhaps a meet and run over from Hartshead?

Congrats BTW.

What do you guys think about mileage?
My old red one had about 12000 miles when I collected it and it's now got 33000 so I have used it.
The Strad has 6000 miles on and I'm a bit worried if I use her the same the value will not be great when I come to swap
No I know the Strad holds it's price a lot better but should I try and keep the usage low?

There is one for sale with Romans at the moment with 21k on it which is about as high a mileage as I have seen one one for sale, and I would say that is only a few thousand under the average market price currently. I don't think that they are too mile sensitive but you just don't see them with huge mileage.
I intend to use mine a lot but I also hope that it will be a keeper so I don't worry. Use it and enjoy it I say, if it is well looked after then it always be a saleable car in the future such is their desirability

Thanks Stuart. I'll try and keep it as low as possible without being too anal. I'll plan to hold on to her for 3 years and then upgrade if possible.

Another question for you guys already with a Strad. Stuart your probably best. My GT/s grounds out in the middle ever so slightly when I drive on to my drive from the road as the pavement is higher than the road as is my drive. Is the Stard lower than a GT/s or just lower than a std GT?

Yes, it is slightly lower and the front also a little longer with the facelift bumper so it can be a little challenging. My house is a mile from when you turn into my road, and is a single track country lane with a ridge in the middle and the cambers dropping away to each side so it takes me a while to get to my house
