Adam, with those pics you can see a lot of similarities between the two cars. For me the Scag looks good, but the GT looks GREAT!

I found the GT to be a much comfier car, better appointed and all in all a better looking car. The V12 in the Scag is rattley until it's opened up and I find the V8 in the GT a much nicer engine.
When I was looking at a replacement for my 4.2 GT I dismissed the 612 without even drivng it, which at the time I found it kind of surreal that the first time I was in the position to actually buy a Ferrari I turn it down in favour of something else.

Dan, you saw the Fezzer, dismissed it for the Maser, good man, you wont regret it and probably loose much less in depreciation as you have bought one **** of a car there and its very well thought of so will come to fruition when you sell it. (to me hopefully)

This is difficult......I love the 612 as a numbe rof us on here but the llure of Maserati may be too much. I think a back to back drive would be in order. Of course the Maserati would be nes and the 612 2nd hand....Hard one that V12 vrs V8...

The Ferrari leaves me completely cold. I find nothing redeeming about the car at all, really dislike the styling and hate the weedy front lights. Yuk! GT then for me, but S flavour please.......

Great thread and you picked great colours for both cars.

For me, though a difficult choice, I would have to end up with the Scaglietti in black. Black makes it look like a batmobile from the side. I adore the looks of this car. I noticed you can pick some up pre-owned ones for around £80-90K now.

By the way what version of GT is shown in the 5th and 6th pics from the top? Very nice...

Also if you purchase a 612, many regard that the HGTC pack is a must, a brand new 612 with the HGTC pack is over 200K, to purchase a 612 at 200K someone must have removed your brain and shat in your skull, you are barking mad IMO to have a 612.

With the replacement 612 being talked about openly for release in late 2011, what are the chances that the prices on used examples will significantly drop anytime soon?

http://www.autoblog.com/2010/03/19/spy-shots-2012-ferrari-612-successor-spied/

What would it take to hit the £60K mark I wonder?

I also saw a picture of the new 612 in a friend's car mag and it does look good. Headlights more akin to the 458 design. Faster, longer and moe economical.
