Well I assume it's hungry. It's eaten a SatNav CD and doesn't want to give it back.

Suggestions?

TIA

Olive oil and a mallet!

Seriously, turn the battery off overnight and let the whole thing power down, after that, try the 2 credit card trick:

Insert one above and one under the disc in the drive and sort of bend so it grips the disc and then pull it out.

Worked great when I had the same issue on my iMac.

I had that once, just check that the centre console slot and the CD slot are in line, sometimes the console can move when you rest on it and stops the CD from ejecting. You can also try a few times with the eject button (I know you will have done that) and sometimes it works trying it a number of times, trying to load and unload itself..??

Cheers Robert. Taking Mrs Catman's 147 last night as we're going to dinner in town, so it's a bit of a bet who's driving home from the station. Mrs Catman, me or the Taxi driver :D

Anyone near Liverpool Street 16:30ish - 18:30 fancy a beer?

Hmm not good.
Can't feel or indeed see the CD at all. Looks like it's in the play position, and just no happy. Might be a NIT out job, but that's not going to happen for a while.

I'll buy a map for Champagne :)

Sorry about that C, I don't think they drop down, I think the CD reader is below the disc, they load like any other CD player.
