But cheapest 3500 in reasonable condition I have seen for sale is GBP 55 (s\n 101.1480)
still, 36 1\2 USD buy it now price seems a tad high...

Yep...but you would have it done to exactly the standards you wanted...
and with other 3500s out there in the 75 - 100 k range (except for the one priced at 55),
it is very much inside the range...would I want to take this on though? very much a NO.

.................true..... for the rest of your life by the looks off it....!!!!....huge task and very expensive.........still will keep an eye on it, maybe ask the vendor to contact the buyer on the forums behalf and see how his restoration goes........over the 2/3/4/5/6/ years....
