How many smokers do we have here?

I'm a social smoker (if there is such a thing nowadays...) only smoke when I drink.
That said I drink most days so therefore smoke most days, but rarely during the day and never in the maser.

So, if you do, do you smoke in the car?

Does it have anything to do with the car you own? A lot of Lotus owners are very anti smoking... And own cats...?

Interestingly, in my line of work (selling solar panels) I've never failed to sell to a smoker. Do smokers have a more "f**k it what will be, will be" attitude, take more risks, or the contrary? Way up the risks, and are more impulsive?

Discuss...

Interesting subject Dan.
did'nt smoke as a school kid, went through 2 years at college after school without sparking up. Started the day I started work.
been smoking ever since.
I once said that I would not smoke in my new merc, lasted about 2 days.
I smoke in the masser cos I rarely have the top up. dont care if this offends any other masser owner cos Its my masser not theirs.
I had a little H.A. in Malaysia on a saturday, got out of hospital on monday & was smoking again by thursday.
Do I know it will kill me, yep, sure do.
wont smoke in anybodies Car/ house/ garden etc unless they start first.
object to paying obscene amounts of tax for a pack of marlboro. cost of one pack in the uk gets you ten in russia, malaysia & saudi.
went to Alan Carrs smoking clinic ( twice) at Ros's insistance, managed to give up for about a week 1st time, sparked up on the way out the door 2nd time.
We are all allowed one vice, thats mine.
are you offended , your problem not mine.

Some good points there Rob, i hate the cost of fags though, i am a marlboro man myself. What i dont like is when people look at me and give me the impression that oh my god you are smoking, i feel like saying, it is not hurting you and if so, p1ss off.

Don't take offence all you smokers! Do what you like it's a free country ( but only just )
But there is nothing worse than trying to get the stench of tobacco out of a second hand car ( I know from experience )
Just remember a non smoker or a smoker will always buy a clean car but only a smoker will buy yours !

Do stop guys....I'd still like to be chatting you all in 10 years time........no absences in the SportsMaseratisti ranks!!!!

I have been clean for a little over 11 years now.
Makes me sound like a reformed drug addict, not an ex-smoker. I mean its not as though nicotine's is an addictive drug, is it?

Yep, another hands up for the casual smoker brigade, I probably smoke a couple on a Tuesday, and the odd one at work, but not every day. Then I go on Stag doos an smoke for 3 days straight. Mind you, I did not smoke for about 10 days after that.

One thing in my life I wish I had never done is pick up my first ciggy, its terrible to kick fully.

As my quack always says, everything in moderation!
