That's lovely.

sorry to be cheeky, but who did the shed for you? and how high is it??

I tried to get planning for something similar, but I had 3.5m or so to eaves height.

I wanted it high so that I could fit a ramp in, but you seem to have managed to get a ramp in and it looks almost standard height... Thats just the sort of thing I want :)

It was done be Warwick Buildings, they had done one before on a smaller scale so was they already had the plans to do the roof to accommodate the ramps.

I don't know if it will be the same where you are but I didn't need planning I was able to do it within 'Permitted Development'

Despite beeing in the construction business, it's always a pain when i have to choose colours. I really liked the way green has been so great in one of the rooms. congrats and good luck with the sale.

Thanks lol, no office space in the eaves as each bay has a parking lift so one car is above another up in the eaves :D

What's behind the move if you don't mind me asking. Seems as if you only built this petrolheads dream a short while ago?

Found a Georgian mansion that needs restoring and decided if you have the opportunity to live in a house like that you should grab it. If it doesn't happen I will not be exactly upset to stay where I am.

New house has enough land making building a replacement garage easy and I would be able to have all the cars on one level too.

I almost did this about 10 years ago. The house had 27 rooms and wasn't listed, so renovations were viable. We were full steam ahead to buy it when a developer stepped in with a cash offer (deceased estate) and it was gone. It was a magnificent house, the sort most can only dream of owning. I'm really glad in hindsight that we didn't as renovation and running costs would have likely been crippling!
