First of all I would like to give kuddo's to the initiators of this forum and also to the members keeping it alive! My name is Arjan ans live (as Danny) in Hilversum, Holland. Thanks to Luuk I found my way to this forum. In the past I have had a real long list of mostly classic Alfa Romeo's (about 30) and am up to my 3rd Maser now. Recenty sold my All Black 224V 2nd series to another aficionad. Great and very fast car. reliable to (huh?) Just bought myself a stunning QPIV with great history and immaculate condition. The first 4 years (in whch it only covered 17K KM) it served as a director's car for one of the Maserati factory executives. After that the car was owned by another carring person for 8 years. NOw its mine...and I adore it. 88K KM on the clock, pristine and always properly maintained.

Hope to post here more often.

Cheers,

Arjan

Arjan,

You are clearly a real fan of italian cars - quite a track record you have. Thanks for posting the pics - keep them coming.

Tell us more about wha you look for in your cars - you seem to swap them pretty often.

Looking forward to hearing (and seeing) more.

Welcome,

David

Hi Arjan, great to have another Dutch Maseratisti on the forum, the Netherlands seems to be the only true petrolhead country in the whole of the Europe at the moment!

Love your cars.....and all the history and varieties you've had over the years.

Do enjoy our forum....feel free to tell us all about your passion and cars,

P

Yes, seems eminently do-able, especially as the forum there seems to have an enthusiastic membership that might be up for a cross-forum meet. We organise getting ourselves there, then they organise a couple of days of tours etc?

Welcome to the forum Arjan , certainly an italian list to be envied amongst your driving CV , keep it coming love to have a bit more of the older classics on here , a true petrolhead, One thing i would say and this goes to all members on here , do you think we ought to have a list of everones blood types , i mean as most on here we have Maserati in out blood ,

God forbid if i had a blood transfusion with non Maserati blood running through my veins , i might start fancying Fords or something worse Peugeot even ............ooh hate the thought

Anyway Arjan enjoy and contribute as much and as often as you can

regards loz

Hi miles
I suggested this on a earlier thread , holland is a great place for a run out.
I would suggest starting from calais , diving up to brugge , about 45 mins , cross into holland at sluis and head north through the new westerschelde tunnel.
the delta route up the west coast takes you to rotterdam & then north to amsterdam.
