Hi,
I've recently acquired a 4200 (as pictured below on set at Castle Combe). Its being featured on TVs Wheeler Dealers later this year. I came from a Ferrari 360 which was a nightmare to take out (too much attention). This car has it where it counts but without the attention!

Think I get more attention in the GT than in the 360.. but that’s probably cause I’m a mid 50s, f4t c*** in a red Ferrari

My 360 was black too, bought it at 40 with no grey hair!! I was still verbally abused most days driving it, so was glad to wave it goodbye. The 4200 has the same F1 box for nostalgia but I can get petrol without hearing the word "wa**ker" in the distance!!

I’ve had mine for 22 years, 115,000 miles.
Had the odd ‘small willy’ comment, but she’s part of the family now, and that’s what all those haters don’t understand.

I'd take Italian over German most days of the week.... a gated manual R8 would be an exception lol
I had 2x 911s in the last 20 years and although they work most of the time, they have no character, so I do jest when I say about Italian, but they do through up some surprises, especially electrics! My ferrari F1 box used to flick to neural when driving for no reason! Most embarrassing time was when my fob battery actually failed from putting petrol to walking back to car - causing a 10 min blockage at the pumps and plenty of stares and sweat on my brow...then she worked and I drove home without stopping!!

See I’m the opposite I’ve had 2 x 4200’s manual and auto. I’d take my 993 over the 4200 all day long. Because at the end of the day I know I just turn the key in the 993 and there are no dramas plus in my opinion bags of character too. But that’s what makes this world a beautiful place……the variety in opinions. I hope you enjoy your car.

I did love my 3.2 carrera and had her for 20 years, but I was offered a silly price so she had to go!

A big warm welcome and what a lovely 4200 in a lovely colour. Hope she is kind to your wallet and you have lots of fun. Plus you had 20 seconds of fame when buying her. Castle Combe is my local track and I see there is the nose of an Aston Martin V8 Vantage F1 edition roadster in the pictures as well. Enjoy.

Hi, Thanks for your kind words. The filming took all day, was good fun with a twist at the end that Mike wanted to do away from their normal handshake and 'deal'. On the day, they had invited around 10 supercars - including a rare Aston, Lambos, Ferrari, Mclaren.
