Hi from Surrey - Maserati QPV

Hi,

Happy to have just purchased a 2007 QPV Executive GT.

I am based in Surrey and enjoying driving this car through the many dodgy country roads!

Identified issues I will be looking to address;

• Second car key needs to be reprogrammed
• Corrosion protection
• Upgrade the Blaupunkt entertainment unit (hopefully as this looks to be somewhat impossible in 2022!)

@safrane I spoke to Matt at Sports Italia and unfortunately the overlay unit they have is for the facelift version only i.e. not the '07 Blaupunkt unit with the sticky buttons on either side

Worth the wait, and at least this time of year the car's delicate underbelly won't be getting too soiled.

The executive and Sport GT QP V sweet spot for trim. The Sport GT S is likely better handling but cost way more.
Not sure about any realistic audio upgrade for our cars. I listen to the mechanical symphony or stream from my. phone via parrot.

I’m in NW Surrey. Haha I had a RR up until last year.

may have to settle with putting in a car jack to the head unit and playing music through my phone. I am more concerned about taking calls on the go than the music though.

Is yours Duo Select? My 2007 Exec GT auto has the phone fitted.
