Sooooo …. Phone call today to say Grecale will be arriving in dealership (Nottingham) on Friday. Following PDI, ceramic coating and ppf - which dealership is arranging with a local detailer - should be able to pick car up on Good Friday. Well excited to actually be able to own our first Maserati, can’t believe it’s so close now

Hey, bit worried now - do you mean in a detrimental way? Would appreciate some insight into any experiences you’ve had? We’re travelling a long way to get the car, had a few bad experiences (not with Maserati dealerships) but high end German manufacturers and really not wanting anymore stress, particularly with a brand we both love

I think he means it in a wallet preservation way! i.e. Not be tempted to go in and buy something gorgeous.

Lol!!!! That’s what I initially thought, then focused on previous bad experiences, sigh!!!

Definitely in a wallet sense lol

I feel bankrupt when I pass by the dealership (on my way to five guys for a burger lol)
Thank crunchie, sorry for the paranoia!!! Just had an almost lifetime love affair with this brand, jumping to conclusions like a right plonker due to previous bad experiences and really not knowing this particular dealership. So back on my ‘high’ again, actually looking forward to our bread and water diet for next 3yrs!!! Will be so worth it I’m sure ….

Just by the showcase cinema on the opposite side of the bypass, 2 mins by car.

I've lost count the number of times I've driven past the showroom.

You'll love it I'm sure

My slight OCD tendency now has me worried that you might have greasy fingerprints when you get the lovely new car. Please can you confirm that your hands will be nice and clean for the first drive! I can’t bear the thought of grubby buttons/chrome
I can totally confirm there will be no greasy fingers. However, I reckon I will be sweating buckets with excitement - maybe other bodily fluids too - so suitable preventative attire will be worn. I all honesty I doubt I’ll be able to eat anything …. Although maybe manage a wee flat white from Cafe Nero, NOT a takeaway of course!!!

Ahh. So that's it. I keep hearing about sticky buttons.

So still no Grecale, promises of arrival and plans made by dealership to get car into the country, only to be changed to “might be 7 or 10 days” this week. Just can’t believe how long this is taking when this car was already an order sent by dealership for what was going to be their demonstrator in January. According to dealership it is Maserati that’s holding back from sending cars to uk??? Also issues with the number of nettuno engines that are being ordered. Either way pulling my hair out here. You get closer to the date, start planning and dreaming of driving the car and then being let down time after time. Should’ve just bought a Ghibli :frusty5:
