Hi again folks,

I was wondering can anyone tell me the name of the two masser indies that are based in Hertfordshire? I know one is near Hemel Hempstead, but the other one is closer to me in Harpenden, if memory serves me they are in the small village of Kimpton and I did call them once about doing an annual service on my QP for me..... but it must be my old age, cause Ive completely forgotten the companies name..... any ideas guys and gals!!!

I think the 2nd named is well known and highly thought of, doubtless someone else will fill you in about DK Engineering.

DK engineering are surely the best, they have some of the best cars for sale and i have heard good reports about them on pistonheads.

DK are most certainly NOT Maserati specialists. They are very well known and revered amongst the Ferrari fraternity and this is their speciality. I live about 1 mile from them and looked into using them for servicing etc. The fact that they either never returned calls or were 'too busy' when Maserati was mentioned put me right off - I tried on at least 3 separate occasions to talk to them. I believe that they don't have SD2/3 facilities either, as a member from one of these forums bought a (overpriced) Gransport from them. They had allegedly 'fully serviced' it before sale but upon it being returned for a fault they couldn't help and referred the owner to a main dealer!

DK is an amazing Ferrari mecca - I'll post some pics shortly of their open day earlier this year, but I would only take a Ferrari there and not a Maser.

Looks like my local service station is gonna be Bill McGraths then..... no use taking the QP to a garage that "says" its a masser worshop, when apparently they dont have all the equipment needed to properly service them. Please someone tell me that McGraths are fully up to speed on Massers!

Tried to do a bit of digging as I can't remember. It was made in 1958 is all I can find out. IIRC it's a very rare model. Couldn't find any more pics apart from the engine bay:

There really were some beauties at DK that day - when have you ever seen 3 Daytonas and 5 F40s together? Automotive **** at its best!
