What about the Range Rover Sport Hybrid?

Thinking getting one of these for a family car and putting it through my company as the tax works out at about £3k a year.

I couldn't believe how 'cheap' (relatively speaking) they were. Especially if you have a company you can put it through.

With Hybrids you get classed as a 'green' vehicle. So it's a massive winner.
Ironically I've just been speaking to my accountant and she agrees. Decent power, green credentials, and massive luxury all for 3k a year tax.
Not to mention 45k off the income and corporation tax.

I'll be honest here. I have absolutely no interest in the hybrid side of things with the RRS. However, as a tax dodge it's brilliant. I can stick 45k through my company and only pay 3k a year tax.
What's not to like?

I get the impression you might be buying this through your company and paying £3k a year in tax. Is that right?

No idea on new price of RRS Hybrid Diesel but guessing 70k x 36% BIK is 25200 x 20% is 5040 or 10800 at 40%.

Newer P400e is 19% BIK so would be much more favourable. However you are not talking 45k 2nd hand....more like 65k nearly new.

Maybe lease a P400e if the payments stack up is better with less BIK.....and a much better powertrain/car with a decent EV range.
