I guys and apologies for the many posts and caps lock idiocy, but I'm up excrement creek with little assistance, so I'm hoping for help.

I went ahead and bought the XCarLink unit (https://www.xcarlink.co.uk/maserati...play-android-auto-retrofit-interface-kit.html) but am up the river with it to be honest. I booked a specialist Italian sports car mechanic to install it, but when he got to work he noticed, that one of the online instruction manuals linked to in the materials does not open!

In other words, I'm looking for anyone who could send me the booklets via email or such so I can forward them to my guy for the installation.

I've been in touch with XCarLink, but as usual, they have been utterly unhelpful. As with delivery issues I was having in May, they promised to help but never ever did. It has been a terrible experience for me so far. Avoid XCarLink at all costs is my experience.

So I am reaching out to the excellent Maserati community for some help. I know there are how-to guides with pictures on this forum, which is good. But the guy I'm having it do won't guarantee his work of course if it's not done by the official book. Because if it breaks or causes problems and hasn't been done as the manufacturer says, he's in trouble if he would guarantee it.

There are two download links provided. One works (https://bit.ly/33YUwLy ) the other one (https://bit.ly/2Knrvl7) does not. If anyone knows any way to get the manuals, I'd be forever in your debt,

Can anyone help? I'd gladly take the manuals by email or any other suitable route.

I don't have pictures because my mechanic has the kit. It's basically a bunch of wires and connectors with the screen adapter interface and a microphone kit as well. The box came with two QR codes and links (the links are above) to the installation instruction manuals. One works, the other didn't as anyone who tests the links will find out. I need both to complete the install.

Yes I've checked it.

OK It would be good to see what's in the box, particularly the cables and connectors but I think......

LVDS cable disconnects from the NIT screen and connects to the video switcher (into the LVDS socket marked)

I suspect there's a piggy back kind of cable that will allow the NIT plug to supply power ad CAN to the interface box (into the power / CAN socket on the video switcher) If not it's comparatively easy to tap the CAN+ and - and provide switched 12v to the switch box)

Then the new screen is physically installed over the top of the old one (or the old one is removed and the new one replaces it)

That might well be it as all the other connections are shown in the working link (but given the type of plugs involved they will only go into one place without using a hammer)
