It's OK. There was a biker I knew on a forum that went by the .nick Wavey Davey. If I recall he was also into MotoCross.

But if the initial UKRM don't ring any bells, it wasn't you :)

Welcome, thrice welcome.

Welcome to the forum Dave and congratulations on your car. I think you'll soon find that driving in sports mode becomes second nature, as the gear change in normal mode can be pretty lazy. If you have skyhook it'll also give you a slightly stiffer ride and does allow for a little bit of traction slip before the electronics reign you back in. Treat with care in this weather mind you.

A warm welcome to the forum Dave, you will really enjoy being part of our little family, well big family really..!! Loads of info and chats on here...enjoy..!!

Re your original question, if not rushing and loads of traffic, just leave it in auto, if you can get on a bit switch the sport on. Open road stuff switch auto off and when the weather is OK select sport. DO WATCH IT IN THE WET..!! These cars have a lot of power and sport selects a less controlled antiskid etc., than normal so that you can enjoy it in the dry, in the wet it can very quickly get away from you if you are not careful.
