Love those horse shoe alloys on the brera. I personally like the colour combo interior and thinks it compliments the exterior nicely. :)

Sorry should ahve said it's a shame Maserati didn't develope the car more........Its a lovley looking car bit just too heavy and after the great V6 in my GTV the engines just didn't do such a pretty car justice.....Still looks great though and in 3.2 S form they made the car it should have been at the start.....How do you find yours against the GT..?

The Brera isn't exactly what you'd call nimble but the 2.4 five pot has enough grunt to get you out of trouble, I drove a Q4 3.2 round Croft and to be honest I wasn't that impressed :(

Maybe it's better in the S variant with the pro drive set up but I've not driven one yet :)

The 1.9 GT mapped could easily keep up with a standard V6 GTV and with the Tarox Sport Japan disks meant I could brake later and with more confidence :)
The reason I had to go with modded diseaels is purely for £££££ Fuel cost.

The GT didn't miss a beat even after being mapped out to just short of 200bhp but it had done 110k so it was time to trade.

The 3.2 Busso V6 GT was a great car and the last of the Busso V6s, that engine was pure automotive **** :)

But the Brera is a good looking, comfortable, economical motorway mile muncher that looks good :)

I'd love to have another GTV V6 as a weekend toy :)

Had a TS and a 3.2 GTV and have a 1.9 GT. all great cars but £4£ the GT comes out on top as it goes like a train and returns 550 miles to a tank. The chassis, brakes and turn in are brilliant as are the seat and Bose Hifi. My only gripe is the front suspension, it rattled and feels poor quality over potholes and drains. I have replaced the upper whisbones and drop links think it might be roll bar related.

Just had an MOT and there was an advisory saying a front shock had reduced damping. I also get a crack sometimes when cornering with the weight shifting left to right.

the GT diesel makes sense, drive it everyday, respected, remap it will make it decent and economical

The seats in the GT are the most comfortable places I've ever put my bum :)

I'd have kept the GT but she'd done 110k and it was time for us to part company, The Alfa I really miss is the Cup :(

No Alfa's in my past parts bin either, but I took the plunge and bought my 4200CC last year.
Love it, but needs to be driven more often so I can start to find the limits of the chassis.
Best things are that superb V8 and the grey leather interior... but paddling around in traffic is a pain :ohh:

Nice dry day, warm up the tyres and the engine, then open her up to full revs right through the box....wonderful...!!!
