Always glad to join a Maserati Forum - located in the US (North of Boston) -My father owned a gas station , automotive machine shop and an automotive parts business - started working for him when I was 10 years old - so, no surprise, I'm a car guy - married, retired from Hewlett Packard - Viet Nam Era Army vet - licensed commercial pilot - former aircraft owner (20 years), former owner of a Ferrari 308 GTB (10 years) so familiar with maintenance costs and spoiled because when I was a kid I could just take whatever part I needed off of the shelf .

Current ride is a 2003 CambioCorsa Coupe - Rosso Bologna with a Cuoio/Sabbia interior - currently has 14,500 miles on the odometer - I'm the 3rd owner - California car delivered to San Francisco dealer - having grown up with stick shifts I was surprised to discover how much I love the F1 tranny.

Spent a lot of time in the UK on business over the years, mostly London, and hope to stop by the Ace Café on the next trip.

Loads of really helpful guys on here with heaps of experience, but it sounds like you have plenty of that.

I spend quite a lot of time in Boston as it's the US home of biotechnology which is my industry. You can often find me in Legal Seafoods, Cambridge, right next to MIT.
